I find it very interesting that a 16 year old girl has the Right widdling in their drawers. Not because of what she said, but because she’s a 16 year old girl. It’s really laughable. Of course, their criticisms would have a much darker, more violent tone had she been talking about something really serious; say, for example, she had survived a mass shooting at her school. /s

Did you see the way the Republican establishment and Fox ‘News’ attacked her?

Be best Melania did nothing to stop the right wing bullying.

    Republicans put profit above environment.

Reminds me about the frequent comments from deniers saying that those that point out the issue shouldn’t use computers, cars, any electricity or fossil fuel or they’re hypocrites. The nonsense that working on climate change means that cars, hamburgers, heating/cooling homes etc. will be ”eliminated” shows their inability to actually think through an issue.

Complex issues require complex solutions and deniers can’t handle that. They want to do nothing or they cry that everything will be taken away.

Humans are bad at a calculation involving “Hurt now to avoid worse hurt later” and they’re particularly bad at it if the “now” hurting is themselves, but the later hurting might not be (e.g. “I’ll be dead by . then” but also “Why should the US suffer to help Chinese coastline residents?”)
