The average salary for a professional player in the NBA, MLB, NFL is in excess of 3 Million, pardon me if I don’t care if they are unhappy. After all I was sometimes unhappy making less than $20,000 a year working the Flight Deck of an Aircraft Carrier, and my Chief wasn’t really disturbed at the fact I was unhappy. I knew that because he told me so, more than once. What made him happy was when I did my job, and on further reflection, what generally made me unhappy was what he did when I didn’t do my job.
At least there is something to cheer today, in Washington, D.C.! Congratulations Nationals!! What a terrific game last night. You’ve proved all the naysayers wrong.
