Kenny is a sweetheart.

And they didn’t all go “SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” with arched backs at the first sign of a dog? Only in the comic strips.. ;-)

When I brought Riley home, about 6 weeks old Elliot, our Golden Retriever picked him up in his mouth and carried him around like a toy. He would bathe him till he licked almost all the fur off his tummy. Dogs and cats aren’t always enemies at first sight.

One has to be a hard case to go there and not bring one along home. There are enough of them here that I stay away from places like that.

We have a big dog. Looks a lot like Kenny. First time meeting our cat he walked right up and they smelled each others noses and have always gotten along since. He’s about five now, but he was only 4 months when we got him.
