pathetically altering a weather map with a sharpie in an attempt to cover up being wrong about the path of a hurricane, and ordering government officials at NOAA to back him up
What he did was indeed bad. Not rape, of course, so he’ll never make it onto our Supreme Court (at least under our current administration). But he did face it openly once confronted with it. And he did say it was stupid and wrong, and that he wished he hadn’t done it. So while it wasn’t good, it wasn’t career-ending.
Okay, guy was what? 20. Goes to an Arabian nights themed party. Costume includes looking like a middle easterner. What do you want, looking like maybe Dolph Lundgren?. I wish the apologies would cease.
Van Jones said it well, if these incidents happened years, or decades ago, and the person apologizes, he accepts the apology and forgives. Now, like Bonespurs, if they NEVER APOLOGIZE, that’s a distinct difference in character of the individual, and a different response.
