My wife got a job offer in Salem, OR. She’s never lived outside the Portland metro. Says she has always been able to walk to Trimet. ‘New’ house (NOT a fixer this time) soon, moving, replanting the orchard, etc. Nice quiet retirement shot.
My ex-MIL was like that. She worried and complained about everything, and if she didn’t have anything to worry and complain about, she complained about that.
