Roy thinks that Gladys is much to competitive.

Looks like Roy is close to bricking himself inside a very small space.

Now they’ll have TWO backyard barbecues.

Unless they’re making them on the front porch.

Roy used to have a full load of bricks…until Gladys took a few. Now he’s a few bricks shy.

There’s nothing like a good bricklaying.

Don’t you have anything better to do?

Is this a modern day, “The Cask of Amontillado,” and will she cement the final brick in place? while he takes a cat nap?

I can see Roy sneaking over in the night to reclaim some of his bricks

Neither of them realize that is not what Mrs. Higglepooder meant when she said “You’re thick as a brick!”

A bit small for a bomb shelter…

The couple that lays bricks together…something… plays tricks together? Her work needs extra sauce though. Won’t last through the first earthquake without mortar.

Only on Ballard Street would someone lay bricks on their wooden porch and think that’s a good idea.

Roy was building something for her to live in, but it looks like he needs to change his plans.
