Whining about how he was right and everyone else on the planet was wrong about ONE WORD instead of just saying “oopsie” like any normal person just distracts from the larger issues: he’s a traitor to this nation, he’s utterly corrupt even if he weren’t, he’s actively undermining our form of government with GOP support (whether consciously or not), and we have REAL issues we must address that he blocks with his nonsense.
God bless Elizabeth Warren, who at the Democratic debate got an idiot question about “do you want the government to tell us what kind of light bulbs we can have?” (Ignoring the fact that George W. Bush’s administration established this to create more durable and efficient bulbs to save Americans money.) She responded:
“Oh, come on, give me a break… this is exactly what the fossil fuel industry hopes we’re all talking about. They want to be able to stir up a lot of controversy around your lightbulbs, around your straws and around your cheeseburgers, when 70% of the pollution, of the carbon that we’re throwing into the air, comes from three industries.” (For the record, oil, electric power, and building.)
