Eldo, Gus is the Scottie or miniature Schnauzer or whatever with the “mustache”. He’s the one named, recurring dog in the strip who seems to have no personality to speak of whatsoever. It’s not the least bit surprising that you can’t recall him, and that nobody is clamoring for his introduction.

A Bichon is not a purse dog. My wife’s Bichon weighs 12 or 13 pounds. While she’s light enough to carry easily, I can’t imagine her in a purse.
