Actually no. In February, 5 of the 15 board members did not live in Texas. All five resigned in the aftermath.

Actually, she ran when he said he loved her, not when he tried to take the middle ground.

Have you checked her socials? She lives her life online. Surely she’s posted something about what’s going on in her head.

The employmet shortage is not just about the unemployment pay. Hospitality/retail/seasonal jobs rarely pay a living wage. And many of those workers used the past year to improve their marketable skills so that they can now get jobs with better pay and benefits. Those people are not coming back to these jobs. On the other end, these businesses have long depended on young, inexperienced workers to fill positions. If you haven’t noticed, there has been a steady decline in birth rates over the past 15 years (if not longer), so there is not a large group of teen/early 20s workers to readily draw from. Finally, the tightening of immigration means that pool of workers is also shallow. The aging workforce has been a concern for a long time. The pandemic has turned it into a crisis.

Denying Garland a hearing upon his nomination … actions have consequences.

My Tizzy’s stunning handsomeness has saved his Norman Bates-esque ass more times than I can count.

If only these same lawmakers would be so insistent on background checks for gun sales.

No snark. Just the reminder that a true trans or intersex athlete is far different from one who is taking PED simply for a competitive edge.
