Brings back a memory from long ago: In the fall of 1947, my family moved out West from Pa. to a drier climate for my mother’s health. There was a good-by party in the 4th grade class for me and one of the mementos was a “huge” piece of bubblegum. It wasn’t until we got to Indiana that I remembered that I had left this memento on the bedpost at my grandparents where we had spent our last night before we left.

I thought it was parts of a mobile representing the Big Bang. The universe was expanding and everything!
