I remember eating in the basement on hot summer days when I was little. We set up a card table & chairs and brought the meal down where it was cool.

Ah Suburban basement. The scent of paint thinner, mildew and a soupçon of mustiness. I would suggest a Black Forest ham sandwich to be the correct pairing.
