You’d think that sign would be good for business. Presumably it’s based on self-exclusion (unless they hired a bonehead bouncer), and boneheads never recognize the trait in themselves. So they would all flock in, thinking how nice it would be to be in a bonehead-free environment! (Imagine, no annoying boneheads talking loudly on their cell phones!!)
RSR: where I come from, if there are people waiting in line to get into a bar, we figure we’ve found the place where the boneheads hang out, and reach the logical conclusion that the drinks will be overpriced and the conversation stupid… so we go to another bar.

This bar is in New York, there is a trash bin in the alley behind the sign and the trash didn’t quite make it into the bin. So boneheads are in the vicinity!
