Mom’s old boss Sam used to clear out when she made the bed. Then he’d come back, crawl up under the covers, & curl up into a small lump right in the middle.
Angie doesn’t takes into account how much she inconveniences The Mittens, doing all her fancy chores disrupting his naps. She’s lucky that he is so stoic, and never complains about it.
Our girls will stubbornly stay on the bed as the sheets are flung over them, and then one of the others will come in and pounce on the “Lump”. Then “Hijinks ensue.”

At least he doesn’t try to grab the sheets. I’ve got more than a few sheets with tiny holes in them from when my two try to “help”.
