Every problem is because of evil oil. Why not try mentioning the good that oil does. Most manufactured products have some type of petroleum component. There will be the comment about corporate welfare, which is true, but look to the renewables for all the corporate welfare they get as well.

No, it’s the California legislature that demands more. There are never enough gasoline taxes for them to waste and divert.
