My sister broke her middle finger once. Loved showing off the cast.
I broke my arm when I was 7, during the summer, and that cast got dunked in water so many times, despite my poor mom’s best efforts. And yeah, the stench when it came off was epic.
Oh yeah, I broke my arm one summer as a kid, it was a plaster cast at the time. It was brutal, no ocean for months, unless I had a plastic bag over it
Try having a timed math contest on the black-board against another student with one on!
