Criticizing the US mens soccer team isn’t really fair considering the level of interest and support they get. It would be like a German commentator criticizing their national baseball team.
This is news?! The US Women’s team has won THREE WORLD CUPS and is on the way to #4. The US Women’s team has never finished worse than 3rd place in ALL World Cup tournaments. The US Women’s team entered this tournament as the DEFENDING CHAMPIONS. These are things that no one will likely ever say about the US Men’s team…which had to watch to watch the 2018WC from home on TV as they couldn’t even qualify….
