I have to go with Rall on this one. Justifying war is nothing new; but it seems like the narratives aren’t as imaginative or compelling as they used to be.
And Iran is Shia, Saudi Arabia is Sunni, and according to the wizards of the WH, Pompeo and Bolton, the Sunni Taliban (educated by Saudi-supported madrassas) in Afghanistan is following directions from the Shia Iranians? I don’t think any of the Europeans are gonna take the bait this time around.
Crazy right wing plotter Trump believes the hard line that Iran needs to be destroyed. Why should they have all that oil for themselves? He will trump up some excuse to cause widespread damage before congress even opens its mouth.
