These polls are too far out. Hilary was leading by large numbers much closer to the election and we all know what happened. In Yogi’s famous words: “It ain’t over till it’s over.”
During the 2016 elections, I adopted a very simple rule about polls, especially those that seemed to favor Democrats: Treat every 9-point lead like its 5-points, every 5-point lead like its a tie, and every tie like you’re losing. Because Republican voters consistently lie to pollsters.
