Brother Dave Gardner (google him, he was brilliant) said,” Politics politics, I wish somebody would sweep politics under the rug. But how can you sweep it under the rug when it’s a linoleum floor and it’s GLUED.” He also said,”I lost my mind one time. Terrible thing is ya ain’t got nothing to look for it with…” (I’m paraphrasing). Maybe (probly certainly for sure) this once happened to the big orange…
He’s irrational, people. But the GOP is getting a lot of mileage out of him – first, because he is distracting everyone from the horrific things they are doing; and second, because he has no moral center whatsoever to object to or even shape the “looking out for the 1%” agenda that is all the party does anymore. So the GOP protects him.
A number — including Joe Biden, alas — think the party will go back to being a reasonable collaborative group, forgetting the evidence of the past few DECADES refusing to cooperate with Clinton and Obama. It won’t. It is the party of Trump now.
The few Republicans who have left the party – even stalwarts like George Will! – are still fooling themselves when they claim the party left them. Yes, it embraced the John Birch Society (formerly excluded as extremist), thanks in part to Koch brother funding, but the truth is it has been the party of the rich racist long before #45 started speaking the truth out loud. Reagan really wasn’t that far away.
In tonight’s episode, Elaine Chao manages her family’s Chinese shipping business from her cabinet position; Alexander Acosta gets a sweet Secretary of Labor job for keeping Trump’s name out of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and Roger Stone does a cameo on “How Far Is Tattoo Far?”…. brought to you by Powdermilk Biscuits

Like the “regurgitator” on AGT, but it’s the audience hit with it.

Even with the new cast of Democrats, it’s still the same old same old with Donnie. We’ve heard it ALL before.

Trump’s dementia is showing up more and more. Keep broadcasting the insanity and maybe, just maybe people will see what is really in the White House.

Boredom (as depicted above) is really a psychological retreat from terror.

Much like the old “Gong” show, only, instead of Trump hitting a gong, he hits himself in the head. Which makes about the same sound!
