John Dean looked a lot happier and more relaxed during this appearance before the congressional committee than in 1973. Of course, now, someone else is facing possible prison time.
Humans are naturally gullible, though with experience and training, some of us gradually get better at recognizing cons. But some of our best recognition techniques depend on forms of evidence (pictures, speech) that are now becoming unreliable, such as the video of Pelosi that’s been doctored to make it appear she’s drugged or sleepy. Tech-savvy conmen are thus in a “good” position to run some truly world-class cons. Such as the one that saw this guy elected.
Ignorance and stupidity from his supporters aremind boggling, and to think they’ll vote for him again…he has screwed them repeatedly but they’re too stupid to know it….
