Is Larry Simmons the cartoonist’s “Everyman” or is he making a libellous statement about a particular Larry Simmons? I hope he has the facts to back up that comment in court!
At first glance I thought he was just cupping his hand by the side of his mouth and pretend-shouting in the direction of his mother’s apartment building. I like that even better (and I bet he wishes he thought of it).

Not necessarily lying. If it went to his junk mail, it’s likely because he created a rule sending all of Mom’s mail there.
