Besides being Memorial Day, today is National Grape Popsicle Day, National Cellophane Tape Day and Sunscreen Protection Day. So Annie, Put on some sunscreen, get outside in your beautiful weather and enjoy a grape Popsicle and use the cellophane tape to tape Chesney’s mouth shut!
I think I’d be more inclined to tell Chesney to “SHADDAP”. Incidentally, we are going to have a lovely day today, and then it’s supposed to rain for two days.
I’m with Annie on this one, this time of year, usually the morning air is crisp and fresh just before light, the birds awake the day with hopeful,happy songs,best of all, the choirs free!
We have beautiful low elevation snow on our local mountains, and loads of clouds. I have loved ever moment of this cold winter/spring mix extending through May (except for the brutal winds) holding off summer for another month. Maybe I won’t be so grumpy when the 90s kick in after this month’s reprieve.
We went over to my brother’s house yesterday to celebrate some birthdays (23rd, 65th, and 80th). While we were there my cat, who is terrified of storms was left alone to guard the house. Well, it stormed. It trained (storm after storm). When I got home home hours later I was ambushed by a more affectionate than normal kitty who would not let me alone as I prepared for bed. Mid 80’s and no rain today.
