Ben Carson, arguably the most incompetent person (and one of the most corrupt, with his many unauthorized personal purchases), demonstrated that he is completely unfamiliar with the agencies in his own department.

He thought REO (real estate owned) meant “Oreo” when asked about it by Katie Porter (D-Calif) and thought “OMWI” (Office of Minority Women Inclusion) meant “Amway” (owned by Betsy DeVos’s family) when asked by Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio), who also noted that she had gone to his office previously to explain it to him.

Carson, a medical doctor, was supposed to have a reputation as a brain surgeon of some repute who even wrote a book on the subject before going into politics.

He shouldn’t have done that last lobotomy on himself. It did not turn out well at all.

Remember when he was running for president and said he wasn’t qualified to be a Cabinet secretary?

The only honest thing he ever said.

The ‘Double Stuff Oreos’ don’t actually cost more, there less of them in a package. The brain surgeon can’t even get that right.

Actually, the 1932 REO was a pretty good looking car…http://www.remarkablecars.com/main/reo/reo-00001.html

Every industry has it’s own jargon that serves as short hand when discussing things ‘in house.’ Communication is a two way street. If the listener hears one meaning and the talker intends a different meaning, mistakes happen.

Ben Carson was a top-notch brain surgeon, and many people live better lives today than before he operated on them. That being said, he’s a classic case of “You can’t be good at everything.”

A lot of being smart is knowing what you’re dumb at.

I keep thinking about REO Speedwagon’s song “Ridin’ the Storm out”.

The Carson routine sounds like Abbott and Costello’s routine.

Carson should have retired gracefully while he was ahead. At this point, it seems likely he’ll face a jury of his superiors (I doubt his peers would qualify for jury duty).

No, not insanely. They are very sane and very evil. If they are incompetent mores the better to destroy that part of govt aid to us can be brought down. To them the idea of govt helping anyone is awful and should not stand. You either stand on your own two feet or die. They would leave it to us to choose. Think eugenic culling by other means. They do it on a large scale and have no conscience for the suffering & deaths they would cause. To them we deserve it if we are so weak we should not live at their expense.

Of course most of them were born rich. But that doesn’t effect their false version of meritocracy and Social-Economic Darwinism (sic) that fits their own racism and classism.
