How many of those potatoes are used to make Pringles?

So there WAS something fishy about the mistress of King Louis XV.

Take care and may God bless.

The Mongols called fermented milk airag. They would put meat under their saddles and the long rides would tenderize it. Also, the horse sweat would provide salt for the meat. Their horses were bred for stamina and they could ride a hundred miles in a day. If thirsty along the way they would slit the horse’s skin and drink his blood, not harming the animal.

Kumiss was popular with the Mongol horde, over a thousand years ago, when they conquered most of Asia and Europe.

Imagine all the wonderful inventions we’d have if Louis XV had Tinder. Cure for Syphilis, perhaps?

The Countess looks a bit dim. Perhaps she couldn’t count past two or three. Thus the fishbowl.

Countess Du Barry did not “lnvent” the fish bowl. She was just the first European to keep a live fish in a bowl. The Chinese had doe it centuries earlier.

Was the Countess also the first to “flush” the dead fish floating in the bowl?

What would you rather have dropped on your head, ten pounds of potatoes or ten pounds of feathers?
