Isn’t this strip out of order? The pink dog had first read the book, ‘BARK!’ed at the toy dog park, then the other toy dogs looked at him questioningly, and then they all started to ‘yap!’ to ask to leave?

Hummmmm ……… How many chapters are in that book ? Chapter #1 must of been the perfect “Bark” …. Chapter#2 The perfect “Mooch” ….. Chapter#3 How to pick the perfect tree to “Pee On” ….

Unfortunately, this doesn’t actually work. Anytime anyone tries to put out a loud authoritative bark, the immediate result is triple the volume of yapping.

Instructional books are helpful, but often make you stand out in your peer group. Mixed blessing that. Frankly, the pup is not a great dane.

Makes me think of puppies when they let out their first real bark. They usually look bewildered, like, “Where did that bark come from?” Or they recognize that they “heard” a bark, and start yapping their heads off, confusing themselves further….quite entertaining!
