Since only the surface is dirty, I just run it under the faucet until the surface ice is melted and then use it.
Well, I think he’ll slip on the water & break a hip. Pick it up!!!
If you have hardwood floors, the answer is clear. You’ll have it off the floor before it melts even a drop.
I use to not worry about this, I had dogs that loved ice cubes.
