    Oppression of women and gays

Catholic official policies of harboring and protecting child rapists

    KKK (racial terrorism)

    White Aryan Resistance (WAR)

There is only ONE WAY to prevent sectarian terrorism: purge ALL RELIGIONS from our world.

And the core (I won’t say “heart”) of this cartoon is a strictly “Christian” metaphor.

The U.S.-Mexico border isn’t protected by militias, it’s patrolled by domestic terrorists.

The United Constitutional Patriots are just one in a long line of anti-immigrant groups who try to terrorize the border areas.

GOP State Rep. Found Plotting Violent Attacks Against Democrats – April 22, 2019

Right-wing extremism is on the rise, despite Donald Trump’s assertion that white nationalism is not a real problem. Now a Republican State Representative has been caught plotting violent attacks against liberals with the help of other other right-wing extremists.

Rep. Matt Shea of Washington State has allegedly been found to be colluding with violent right-wingers to enact violence upon Democrats. Using Signal, an app that many people are generally pretty unfamiliar with, Rep. Shea communicated his plans to conduct so-called “psyops” on his liberal enemies to the extremists in his corner.

The Spokane Valley Representative communicated on the app under the alias “Verum Bellator.” Translated from Latin this name means “true warrior.” This warrior who happens to also allgedly be a Washington State Representative, was hanging out online with figures such as the host of the fringe right-wing radio show Radio Free Redoubt, Jack Robertson, and Anthony Bosworth, a gentleman who once was in trouble with the law for taking firearms to a courthouse.

The Guardian obtained chat logs from the conversations from another participant who is being kept anonymous so that he can be kept out of harm’s way.

The group decided that they would go after certain people with surveillance and violence. When caught, Rep. Shea tried to pretend that the chats and threats were just jokes. He said of the situation:

“A lot of people in private conversations say things tongue in cheek about what they would like to see happen to these people, but that is not setting a policy or establishing a protocol for people to carry things out.”

Trump, Republicans applaud Navy SEAL accused of war crimes.

Two SEAL snipers told investigators that one day, from his sniper nest, Chief Gallagher shot a girl in a flower-print hijab who was walking with other girls on the riverbank. One of those snipers said he watched through his scope as she dropped, clutching her stomach, and the other girls dragged her away.

That’s right, his team-members say Gallagher shot a school age girl while she was walking with her friends. They reported other incidents where Gallagher fired machine guns into neighborhoods and killed other civilians from a sniper position. Then there’s this story:

On the morning of May 4, 2017, Iraqi troops brought in an Islamic State fighter who had been wounded in the leg in battle, SEALs told investigators, and Chief Gallagher responded over the radio with words to the effect of “he’s mine.” The SEALs estimated that the captive was about 15 years old. A video clip shows the youth struggling to speak, but SEAL medics told investigators that his wounds had not appeared life-threatening.

A medic was treating the youth on the ground when Chief Gallagher walked up without a word and stabbed the wounded teenager several times in the neck and once in the chest with his hunting knife, killing him, two SEAL witnesses said.

Killing a prisoner of war, especially one underage, is among the gravest of war crimes. We should expect all our politicians to take such matters seriously. This will never happen, because the Republican party has openly allied with white supremacists and tacitly endorses violence visited upon brown and black people.

Spurred by the Gallagher family, 40 Republican members of Congress signed a letter in March calling for the Navy to free the chief pending trial, and soon after, President Trump said on Twitter that he would be moved to “less restrictive confinement.”

Sadly there is probably a lot of truth to that.. Civilization as we know it.. likely would not have developed were it not for the ever expanding need for better tools of war to dominate and control those other heathens.

Two things first – After a schoolroom shooting in their community the Amish collected food and other comforts for the families involved, including the shooter’s family since they too were suffering. Let us all be such good people. Secondly, and I’ve said it before, one of my most frequent prayers is that zealots of any ilk who die reach the entrance of heaven and get asked why they’ve been calling God by the wrong name for all those years. This latest massacre is apparently being blamed on the Christchurch mosque killings but that seems to have nothing to do with the churches or victims in Sri Lanka so that makes it even more senseless if that’s possible. Also warnings were ignored but there’s probably no greater punishment than living with the knowledge that you could have prevented something like this.

I very seldom agree w/ Breen, but this time I think he’s right on the money. Though if he’s thinking of a particular religion as being the problem, he’s wrong.
