A friend of ours once left a bag of Kisses when their dog could get them. Fool critter ate the entire bag, foil and all. He said he just waited until dark, and went out with a flashlight to find the “sparkles”. It was a large dog and milk chocolate candy, so although the pooch had diarrhea, he was OK.
Yeah, when the snow melts to get to see all the “presents” that dog left you during the winter. I scooped them up when they were still frozen. Less stinky.
If you’d get off your arse and walk the dog, with poop bags, instead of throwing him out into the back yard, you won’t have this disgusting job in the spring. You’re retired after all, and that’s one of the benefits of having a dog, to get some exercise.
