It’s also a common name for ettins. Or at least, it’s common for one of the heads to be named Thog.

How much does the troll charge for passing?

Why can’t it be a simple mutual admiration society, Mari?

Wait—I thought Gruu was the troll that invented bridges and Thog was the troll who came up with the idea to charge for crossing.

Unless the Unicorn is into cross-species relationships, I believe that she means “envious,” not “jealous.” As for “too,” it should be used to qualify only elements that should be present, but not in excess. For example, soups normally contain salt, but a given soup could be too salty. Neither jealousy nor envy should ever be present in a relationship, but, by saying that she’d be “too jealous,” the unicorn implies that “some” jealousy is all right, but not as much as she would experience if the other being were another unicorn. Such a use of “too” is a corruption of English.

I wonder how different the Internet (and, therefore, life in these modern treacherous times) would be if there were Internet “ogres” or “orcs” or “wombats” instead of trolls!
