OK. Enough is enough and too many is sufficient! If they don’t quit we stand the chance of NOT winning! However….it might just give us time to make sure the best person wins!

Like Bette Davis said in All About Eve…“Fasten your seat belts. It’s going to be a bumpy night” More like a long, bumpy ride. And I can’t wait!!

And HOW MANY republicans ran in 2016? So many they couldn’t all fit on the stage at one time for the debates!

Now now. There were 17 morons, I mean Republicans, on that debate stage in ’16. Dems have them beat this time, but not by much.

No problem, most will be quickly weeded out.

if the Dems don’t smarten up and get behind someone, emphasis on ‘one’, they may hand the 2020 election over to him

This would not even be a concern if Democrats used ranked choice voting – and the Democrats could do that if they wanted. The Democratic Party, like the Republican Party, is a corporation, with a lot of money. They can stop sucking off the public tit and finance their own primaries, using whatever method they want.

How can it possibly be a problem to have a smorgasbord of absolutely wonderful choices? Most of the time when I vote, I wish there was a “none of the above” choice. Now it would be nice if there were some way to have an “all of the above.” As long as Democrats don’t allow anyone to break off an run as and independent, there is no way to lose. Problem being that Democrats are experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Were there “too many” when the Republicans did it?

It’s our party and just think of all the money we will make at the no-host bar.

Thinning out the crowd is what primaries are for, but I’m sure we’ll see a lot drop out before then.

As long as the filtering process is quick enough and not so negative as to give Agent Orange’s agents extra ammo, I cannot see how having a lot of candidates is anything but good.

There are a lot of interesting candidates and ideas. Universal basic income is an interesting idea, in which everyone over 18 would get $1000 per month, in response to the problem of losing jobs through automation. Giving all teachers $13,500 more per year would change many lives, not mine since I retired years ago. Paying for all state college tuition would also help many. Universal Medicare would be a lifesaver for many. How to pay for it? Start with a fairer tax system. Stop the wasteful military spending for weapons which are not needed.

Morin, it has already been done to the point of irrelevancy. You’re welcome.

Mathematical proof that anyone is better than Trump. It’s just that no Republican has the guts to run against him…or stand opposed to him in the least.
