Fake cartoon! The Russians don’t need binoculars because they’ve got Mar-a-Lago bugged, with both audio and visual. (No WONDER the Chinese were jealous!) And, on the rare occasions that Li’l Donnie is at the White House, they have that covered also. Besides all that, when the hell was the last time Putin wore a shirt, let alone a coat?
As a VERY NON-touchy-feely woman, I’ve never been shy about telling space invaders to back off. I’ve never had to tell anyone twice & I’ve been amazed at how much respect I’ve gotten for it, even from some really piggish types, & I’m always surprised that more of us don’t set those boundaries from the get-go.
That being said, I do think it behooves the “huggy” types among us to learn to read the signs & not make it our responsibility to police our personal space. If someone extends one hand, nods, or (especially) takes a half step back (as I sometimes do when I feel REALLY uncomfortable around someone), assume they don’t want a bear hug, & respond accordingly.
What a laugh——the Electoral College—that ornery old slave holding gambit——elected tRump, self admitted grabber of women’s nether regions, and now there is this big wha-hoo over Biden’s non-sexual behavior? Who are the crazy ones in this senario? I’m 76 years old and a feminist and I find this nonsense beyond ridiculous.
The attacks on Joe who has a heart, and empathy, and maybe too old a “social environment”, like hugging and touching being okay, the one I grew up with, are absurd. And the attackers support Bonespurs???
We need to clarify between public and private displays of affection. How can you possibly compare a man who puts his arm around a woman’s shoulders in a public room with dozens of other people present with a man who asks an attractive woman to come to his hotel room to discuss a contract for a role in a movie —then when he gets her in his room he locks the door and tries to rape her.
These women who are causing a rift for nothing are in a “hysterical state” and looking for their 15 min of fame not to mention who paid them to ruin his reputation and Joes chances for running for President? What the hell is happening with these women of today? They get on a hysterical band wagon just because others are…get a life, twits!
