This is a perfect example of right wing hypocrisy. When Trump’s lap dog says that Mueller’s investigation didn’t prove him guilty, which is NOT the same as exonerating him, you all crow that he’s innocent and we should move on. But when prosecutors dropped the charges against Jussie Smollett, you cry that Justice was run over by a truck. Guess what? YOU CAN’T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS!

The CPD and DA’s office ought to calculate the man hours and their cost to the taxpayers to investigate this false crime and Mr. Smollett should have to reimburse the city every last cent.
The damage that false claims of racism or attacks on homosexuals do is actually quite harmful. To the point that the first thought out of many when you hear these accusation is to automatically question them and doubt the sincerity of the incident and doubt the accuser. This very public scumbaggery from moron has harmed many, including two minority classes to which he belongs – being black and a homosexual.
Regardless of your political leanings and your distaste for all things Trump or Republican or conservative, you should loathe the actions of this particular “man.”
This is one of those lovely cartoons that absolutely leaves me gobsmacked. Did he finish his work? Is there something I missed? Perhaps it’s code, the oft mentioned “dog whistle” a secret sent to both his readers.
Smollett is, apparently, an ignorant putz. but weighing his stupid little trick against the decades long history of massive corruption in the Chicago police force, I’d say that the prosecutors would do well to take the resources they might have put on the Smollett case and clean the CPD sewer.
Is this the same Lady Justice who regularly imprisons black people under false allegations? A society that has been making false allegations since Emmett Till and before? The cops who too often shoot unarmed and innocent black people? A justice system that let’s cops like Louis Scarcella walk free despite his having helped imprison multiple innocent people of color who served decades of time due to his coercive tactics and planting evidence?
Spare us the shock and outrage about a case where no one got hurt or killed or sent to prison. This moron’s $10,000 bond should cover plenty of cop overtime.
