That’s a poor likeness of the president wearing the ball cap and American flag T-shirt.

No, Mr. Lester, the question is; why did the Rump not denounce it? Why did the Rump refuse to call it an act of terrorism? Why does the Rump dog whistle the alt right? Of course, you conserves will turn a deaf ear to the Rump’s racist rants.

Lester drew nothing about the Tree of Life killings last year, and today he treats the New Zealand mass murder as he springboard for a shabby, groundless criticism of journalists. He consistently shows far more compassion and sympathy for people in MAGA hats who are berated in public places than he does for the murder victims and their families. Of course, it must be coincidental that he shares the disdain for immigrants and immigration of those perpetrators of mass slaughter.

The killer mentioned Trump by name. I’m sure that was just an oversight by Lester.

Mr. Lester,I hope you don’t get in trouble with Herr Trump when he sees that you called the killer a ‘white supremacist’. He doesn’t care for the term.

    An opinion:

" … Words are weapons. Those weapons can be lethal.

The president of the United States gives both permission and encouragement for public’s behavior, values and norms. This is true both in the United States and around the world. He or she is that powerful.

According to various reports, the alleged terrorist specifically cited President Trump as an inspiration. His online manifesto praises Trump as “a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose.”

    …"

Well, where are all the right ring conspiracists? They could easily explain it to Mr. Lester. For example, Why was Rush Limbaugh and KAC quoted in the manifesto? Should we examine their bank accounts?

I will admit some are saying that and I don’t believe they should. This white nationalism and extreme nationalism is something that exists without Trump. The problem is that Trump uses it and plays upon it to maintain support from SOME of his base. That is what is despicable about Trump.

Good question, Why didn’t Obama call the military base violence of a Muslim major a act of terrorism and only called it work place violence.

We’ve had many similar massaches here in the U.S. Like the U.S., New Zealand has a strong gun lobby and its population are gun owners. Their 10 day plan to turn things around is most promising if this is the first of their mass assaults on their population. I wish them well.

“Leaving the world to wonder….” You have a pretty big ego to think the whole world stops to think about the USA every time there is an international news story.

Errrmmm…Mr Lester? What about this? Ya think that maybe the growth of white supremacist activity internationally on the dark net is just a coincidence?

Steve King posts a meme warning that red states have “8 trillion bullets” in the event of civil war.

The mass murderer mentioned he admired the Chinese government most, so clearly the Chinese are to blame or just as much as Trump and his supporters.

Mike I see the part where you are unhappy with the news media. I see how you are drawing the redcap as a victim of the media. Is there somewhere in the ’toon that the 50 dead are victims?

Trump says the scum sharing memes, conspiracy theories & warnings of ‘Sharia takeover’ are fine people. Much of what’s left of the GOP base are openly sympathetic to these ideas.

Trump’s GOP is the party of white nationalism. We warned about this all through 2016. A few conservatives have decided they can’t support that. Mikey has obviously decided he’s fine with it.

Mikey, Mikey, Mikey. Still repeating the NRA motto about good guys with guns.

At least the Kiwis decide what to do, and do it.

USA is only number one in one thing globally – gun deaths.
