    Proper maintenance, no problem. The problem is the Bonespurs administration is getting rid of a lot of safety regulations related to that maintenance.

    Just think what the flight would be like if the trumpster was pilot and flying the aircraft the way he is ‘attempting’ to run (‘run’ needs an ‘i’ here) OUR country.

    Actually, planes are made to last a long time, and are remarkably durable on the whole. A lot of the problem with the 737 appears to be in the documentation!

    Of course, since Reagan deregulated the industry, it has been harder and harder for most airlines to make money, which has led to the current state of planes being hard-used for longer periods, getting fewer mechanical checks, and generally running them into the ground. Let alone the passengers…
