    It’s an acquired taste.

So what do you eat tomorrow? Seriously, go somewhere else and leave the poor swans alone! I think my problem is that I want to love this comic as much as I love Breaking Cat News. But I realize it’s hard to top that!

You know, I thought I loved duck, until I had wild… talk about gamey fat! (What little fat there is on a wild duck, anyway.) I find that good, farm-raised- not commercial raised- poultry is much tastier than its wild counterpart. (I’m sure it has to do with their difference in diet.) I bet those village raised swans are way tastier than ones they’d find in the wild. They are, for sure, tastier than starving.

From what I’ve read about fine dining in the Middle Ages, swans aren’t good eating. They made great presentation pieces at banquets but the people actually ate other things while admiring the swan. Only the top 0.1% got to indulge.

If your going to get run out of town again, make sure you get all the swans. At least have some food for later.

If the townspeople didn’t want you to eat the swans, they would sell you food like decent and INTELLIGENT people. Since they are neither decent nor intelligent – well, it’s a shame that swans aren’t better eating.

Can’t they just steal some chickens?

Can’t they just leave? Go to the next village?
