It’s not a matter of fossil versus renewable energy sources. Smart energy companies, even though heavily invested in fossil fuels, will be investing in renewable energy sources. Otherwise they’ll join the wooly mammath and dinosaurs as footnotes in history.

Remember how bigly the windmill fought in the original. Sancho Pence will be picking up the pieces for weeks. And isn’t Don’s steed supposed to be an elephant? A shrinking elephant.

You can believe the 6 super producers, Shell, BP, Exxon/Mobile, Chevron, Eni and Total, have plans ready to convert to renewable…probably in a single decade. They are just gonna squeeze as much cash out of fossil fuels as we allow them.

We need to not only stop producing extra CO2, but to start being carbon negative taking it out of the air and eventually the water.
