Did Ms Lisa Benson draw this ’toon before she had learned that, once again, a U.S. defeat in Vietnam, a country very sensitive about AGENT ORANGE brought to us by draft-dodging Capt Bonespurs (and even the bone spurs turned out to be fake)?

Once again, Trump is played and outmaneuvered by a young kid half his age and twice as smart (Kim Jong Un is not very smart, but being twice as smart as Trump is a pretty low bar).

Kim Jong Un gets a renewal of a U.S. pledge to backstab Japan and South Korea on military exercises and being seen on the same stage, as media equals, with the “president” of the United States.

And TRUMP GETS NOTHING. AGAIN.

The Summit didn’t even distract from coverage of the Michael Cohen hearings in Congress, further revealing that the Emperor has no clothes.

Lisa, YOUR GUY is the greatest negotiator in human history, right?

So far, Kim has gotten military exercises cancelled and two sitdowns where he was an equal with the POTUS.

In return, Trump finally got to go to Viet Nam that his bone spurs prevented him from seeing.

I’m glad Trump didn’t take a lousy deal.

But Lisa, Trump is the greatest negotiator that ever lived!!!! How could this be??

We learned from the president that North Korean prisons were “rough places. Very rough.” Wow. Who knew?

No deal is better than the bad deal NK put on the table. I was afraid Trump would do something stupid but walking away was the right move. His team probably had to lure him back to AF1 with cheese berders.

And the GOP derided Obama for his diplomacy skills. Now Trump has set the bar for what the Republicans expect on a world stage: denigrate our allies, and become props for dictators. Trump readily disrespects Macron, Trudeau, Merkel. But is more than willing to take Duterte, Putin and Kim at their word. He and all his followers (Lisa included) have chosen what side of history they want to be on.

Trump’s made for tv summit takes place in the middle of the night US time. Oops. Good thing nothing happened.

@Dagnabbit — Did you forget that a Senate ( controlled by GOP ) Committee scheduled the first Cohen hearing on Feb. 26th? Oh, I forgot, this fact was mentioned by MSM!
