I think Bub’s showing you shoes you’ll be comfortable in.

I think it’s sweet that he wants her to buy comfortable shoes ….

and seems to think she’s attractive that way.

It’s much better than acting disappointed if she doesn’t put on pointy high heels for him..

Gentlemen, let’s have a straw poll: Do high heels make women look more attractive?

Shoes complete the look. If he thinks she’d look good in those, he thinks she looks frumpy.

I wouldn’t mind wearing sensible shoes if those who designed them didn’t go out of their way to make them look so darn ugly. Its like they have decided you have given up anyway so it doesn’t matter if you wear clunky frumpy things. I have a couple of unicorn pairs of heels that strike the right balance of attractive but comfortable but otherwise it is either wear something you like the look of and be miserable and pray no one will ask you to outrun a T. rex or minimally stand for a long time, or be comfortable and hope no one looks down at your feet, ever.

Don’t go there Bub; it’s a trap.
