Is Roger Stone going to be a stupid as Paul Manafort?

Manafort was out on bail, but then got caught trying to influence witnesses, so had additional restrictions imposed. Then he violated those conditions and ended up in jail awaiting trial, in a luxury suite. Then his lawyers, seeking a change of venue, argued that the trial should be moved closer to his jail. The judge said it would be easier to move the defendant than the trail, so moved him from his luxury cell a hundred miles away to a city jail cell with no amenities a few blocks from the courthouse where he languishes today.

Stone, like Manafort, got bail and a very flexible “gag” order. Then he went and posted a picture of the judge with crosshairs and conspiracy theory commentary on Instagram. He then said the thought the symbol was a Celtic symbol (even though he had posted images of crosshairs before and referred to them as such), and other inconsistencies in his story. The judge tightened up the gag order to a full silence order, and did not buy the Celtic BS. She warned him that “this is not baseball, you won’t get a third chance” meaning that if he says one more word in public he will, like Manafort, lose his bail and get locked up.

Stone cold stupid, and arrogant, just like Bonespurs.

When you’re a wannabe super-villain, you don’t perpetrate anything as pedestrian as jury tampering, you set your sights on the judge!

I hope he violates it and gets thrown in jail.

These people are drunk on their own idea of how much power they think they have. They’re better than you or me. Their money and position can not only buy and sell us but place them above the law and even the constitution itself. We serve them at their every whim. These are exactly the same people that Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, and so, so many other real Americans fought so hard to drive out of this country. What fools are we to tolerate this for one more instant. They would be the royalty of today that would lie, cheat, steal, but oh, so much more than that, treat us with distain and even contempt. Their contempt of the laws and constitution grows every day, and they laugh at us and flaunt the power they think they have over us. Is it not time enough yet that we should drive them out? These are not Americans. They would and do have us at each other’s throat. They have distracted us with hate and fear while they loot our country and make it so very hard for us to appreciate the liberties and prosperity that they claim for themselves. And all the while they are perverting the goals and ideals of the founding fathers. Haven’t we had enough of this distain? Or should we simply continue to let this modern aristocracy to continue to rise above us, to further demean us, to endlessly treat us with such flagrant contempt?

Here’s hoping there are many additional indictments coming in early 2021.

Roger Stone is as pompous as others who are involved with Trump. Certain of their cleverness, they believe they will outsmart every prosecutor, judge, &/or jury that tries to stymie their corrupt activities. They’ve been playing small time mobsters. Now they are flailing when facing heavy hitters like Mueller and SDNY. The big boys/girls have all of these people in their sight and I bet will be under the microscope far into the future.

Remember Stone and Manafort were business partners and are long time friends. ’nough said.

I am amazed that the judge did not jail Stone over this after everything else. But, the whole Trump gang seems to get away with everything. The standards are totally different with this bunch. Also, in terms of Trump himself, he has committed many acts which show him to be unfit for office even if not technically illegal. Beyond that, his daily writings and oral pronouncements show him to be barely literate, amazing that this is where we are in terms of an American POTUS.

If Stone had been a lefty, he would be in prison already.
