If you’re not doing 100MPH they aren’t that big a problem. You can even avoid them at lower speeds.
Some of our potholes are so big and have been around so long, that they are now considered geographical features and cartographers have given them names.
In Portland the city fixes them only if a bicyclist complains.

I don’t get this. Does that mean they would have gotten to the other side? Or just that pot holes would have bothered them as they went over the side?
Ford: Fix or repair daily….
Yeah, dang. Although, where I live, the city buses fall into the potholes and smooth the road for the rest of us. Poetic justice.
