Historically, Use of authority in the US Executive Branch gets pruned on a regular basis. One example is Miranda Rights, which have been incorporated not just into law, but also into common knowledge by the citizenry.
Having extreme political views (e.g., Trump’s) is not the same as mental incapacity. My guess is that Reagan, in his last year in office, came closer to mental incapacity than the current pResident. Due to his overall popularity in 1987, (and his long coattails) nobody really wanted to look at the 25th in his case. But it would not surprise me to learn that perhaps it was discussed in FBI meetings (or, more likely, among Cabinet members).
No, Trump is still playing the same role as Carnival Barker that got him an electoral base originally. As such, he’s Ugly, but not Insane. For someone supposedly a master negotiator, he sure shows a lot of inflexibility and/or lack of compromise.
Where is the dotted line from the executive branch up to Vladimir Putin? Did you forget that one Bob? Or how all the other parts are supposed to eliminate that line?
The 25th worked as intended. There were discussions started regarding presidential fitness. The Vice-President should have been brought into these talks as he is the one who has to initiate any process for removal under Section 4. I’d rather hear about something like this than to wake up and see tanks surrounding the White House in a coup.
Mr Gorrell, like his idol, seems to have forgotten who McCabe and everyone in the Justice Dept. works for. It’s not the president. It’s true that there’s nothing in the Constitution that says that the president has to be a man of honest intentions and reasonably sane mind, but if he isn’t, the rest of the document is irrelevant. As we are finding out.
This piece shows a complete lack of understanding and comprehension concerning the Constitution. Its partisan bias negates any relevance to the point that Mr. Gorrell is trying to make.
However, all words were correctly spelled and the lines are nice and straight. It is technically competent.
Unfortunately the technical difficulty of the work is too weak to for the technical competence to be of any benefit to the overall value of the work.
The (only) reason I ever visit this url is to see what fantasy the nut jobs are pushing lately. Every once in awhile, Gorrell or one of the others peeks out at reality, draws something that’s at least mildly associated with truth and the American Way, and then retreats as fast as he can to his virtual totally-bats cave. Where he is when he draws things like this.
It seems to me that when these twerps say that McCabe talking about the 25th amendment (which is a part of the Constitution) is unconstitutional, what they are really saying is that the Constitution is unconstitutional. Which begs the question: “How can the Constitution be unconstitutional?” It fully shows just how far into insanity the right wing nut jobs have gone.

And here Donnie Bonespurs thought that it was a single block with “TRUMP” in it.

Bonespurs sees himself above the Constitution, which is why he treats it like toilet paper, and steps on it.

Don’t worry Mr. Gorrell, the Rump is busy destroying the constitution.

So the diagram shows Andrew McCabe using the Constitution to remove an unfit traitor.
And?

@alwaysright — FACT – McCabe did NOT “invent” the 25th Amendment!

Seems that the only validity to Gorrell’s cartoon is that there are three branches in our Federal government.
