The problem with escaping “meatworld” to the relative bliss of Aimee’s server is that a physical attack on the server could leave the bots hosed. Having the Baron being the servers’ sole guardian would not fill me with confidence.
Being in VR is bad enough to be totally vulnerable to anything and everything. For a living being they run the risk of shriveling up and have a useless body.
