The Garlic is to keep Clem from smelling the Brownies that Pasquale is protecting from The Hogging.
Now is the perfect time for Pasquale to bring out a whole tray of fresh brownies. No way could Clem get close enough to hog them!!!!

So much for garlic breath. What’s wrong with it. Down here in east garlic and onions are delicacy in any dish.
