Looks like time for Henry to say that he’s not left-handed either.

My husband tried to get out of doing laundry by doing it wrong. Didn’t work. :o) To be fair, he didn’t know HOW to do laundry when we first met. So I had to teach him. If he did it wrong, we would discuss what happened, why it was wrong and how to correct it. He did eventually get it right. I was working full time and he was not. I was taking care of the cooking and all the yard work. I figured he could do the laundry. His parents didn’t teach him how to do ANYTHING. Eventually he took over the cooking (which he enjoyed) as well.

They should take lessons from my husband. He once said “honey, please leave the laundry to me. I like things folded a certain way, and you do it differently.” That was years ago. I haven’t folded anything since. We are quite happy with this arrangement.

I lived with some friends for awhile and learned that everyone does the dishwasher in their own special way. If we have family over and they offer to load the dishwasher I don’t complain about how they load it….and it ain’t easy.

Our dishwasher is always loaded … with extra pots & pans and other stuff there isn’t room for elsewhere. The same for the big oven in the stove. A counter-top oven handles everything fine. The dishes always get washed by hand.

I share Burguny2’s philosophy. If you don’t like the way I do it, do it yourself. Good evening, Crew!

Yup—loading the dishwasher can result in some brutal battles. Proceed with caution!

    Good Evening, Crew.
