If I speak in a normal voice, I have to repeat what I said. If I speak loudly, I’m accused of yelling. Never know when hearing aids are working. Can’t win.
To answer the question above: earplugs are for both him and her, so they can both get a good night’s rest without hearing the other person snoring. It’s so much easier to be good to each other when you are getting the rest you need.
