Why does it matter if it’s late term or early? It’s all murder, right?

So, they all need to be killed, the mother, doctor, nurse, receptionist, medical techs, right?

I think the argument is that women are at fault. I, actually, think that if men, any man, wants sex, he should be fixed. They all want sex, but don’t want consequences, so, put up or shut up

Never mind that the legislation does NOT allow for late term abortions of a healthy baby.

Try not to be negative … people like Varvel are aware of the racial imbalance in fertility rates and are just trying to take advantage of the situation to have a more diverse population sooner rather than later. This is accelerated even further by keeping middle-class wages low as a percent of GDP so that both husband and wife have to work to keep up with rowing rents/mortgages.

Nothing says loving like raising children in abject poverty according to Mr. Varvel. But if it is a Republican mistress, abortion is mandatory. IOKIYAR!

hmmm… So Pro-Life must only apply to the life of unborn fetuses… because this bill, like the one in new york, is to prevent the mother’s death.

But we all know all these abortion toons from the right wing are just to get the debate brewing again so it can go to the Supreme Court now that they done stole enough seats to overturn roe vs wade.

It’s amazing that none of these right wing nutjob cartoonists have bothered to read the legislation. If they had they would know that like New York it does NOT allow for late term abortion of a healthy fetus but rather allows for terminating the birth of a non-viable (dead) fetus especially as concerns the welfare or survival of the mother. But then when have the pro-lifers ever been concerned about the welfare of mothers?

Read the statute before ignorance does real damage to your reputation.

Trump got elected. It must have been God’s will because nothing can happen that is against the will of God. Therefore, God is also in favour of all those abortions.

I have always believe that if society mandates bringing unwanted children to this world they must provide for their livelihood.

When I lived in Virginia, I used to see “VIRGINIA IS FOR LO_ERS” bumper stickers, with a heart in place of the second V. Seemed to me, it would have been dead easy to take a Sharpie and fill it in with an S, or even an N. Which I totally never did, by the way.

The legislation did not pass. Virginia is not for ‘abortion any time’. If the pregnancy comes to term, and the baby is outside the mother, what is the crisis? If it is a stillbirth, that should be known sometime earlier. What would be wrong with terminating that pregnancy?

How many women are in on this conversation? It should not be left up to men to lead this conversation. The question is not “should abortion be legal” but rather should tax payers fund it. People who have the financial means don’t worry about it.

I don’t know who proposed such legislation in Virginia or New York, but I will go find out. I need to understand why a full-term pregnancy should be aborted. That must be an excruciating circumstance.

Most abortions are done very early and are medication abortions. Late term abortions are only used to protect the life or health of the woman, or if the fetus is malformed.

BTW: “miscarriage”, is God’s way of spelling abortion. It is usually done to save the woman’s life, just like those “late term” events. Also castrating rapists can also prevent the need for a lot very very rational abortion decisions.

Another cartoonist is criticizing the medical profession! This is just political propaganda. I hope he and his ilk don’t need health care.Does he believe that it always makes sense to save a child no matter how slim its chances of survival and even if it kills the mother. Maybe other children will suffer or even die if the mother dies! If certain people are against this, then only they should pay for the support of these motherless children or very ill babies that they insist must be born.

I’d be fine with abortion if only socialist/communist babies were aborted.
