Russia installed their kompromat-laden puppet and now the United States government is shut down, there is rampant chaos, babies are in cages, corruption is at epidemic levels and all wealth is being REDISTRIBUTED from the working people who produce it to the few richest elites who own / invest in the productive resources and the president’s party, complicit in the hostile takeover, does NOTHING to exert their power as a separate but co-equal branch of government and impose real checks and balances.

That border thing? Hilarious to hear TrumpubliKKON liars talk about a crisis and say they may impose a “national emergency” but will wait first (if it is an EMERGENCY, by definition you can’t wait). The TrumpubliKKKONs had two years with complete government control and did NOTHING.
For the last ten years illegal border crossings on the southern border (thanks, Obama!) have steadily declined every single year to the point that they are now at their lowest level in 46 years.

It boggles my mind that “conservative” voters actually believe this man thinks illegal immigration is a national emergency. Trump had 2 years of solid Republican control to ask for wall funding, yet waited until after the Democrats took control of the house. Not to mention, it’s such an emergency that the troops he sent to the border at Christmas time were sent home because Trump said the crisis was over. Let’s not forget his rhetoric about the wall keeps shifting every time it’s shown to be utter bull$#!+.
Odd that he couldn’t convince his own party to fund his Ego Monument. Odd that he really never meant that Mexico would actually pay for it. Odd that he can’t keep staff in the White House. Odd that he doesn’t reveal details of his meetings with his boss – excuse me, I meant “foreign heads of state” – to his own officials. Pay no attention to that man in the Oval Office, says the Wizard of Odd.
The trump.. just like to create controversy.. get the troops agitated. He could care less about the wall.. but it serves as a fine “rally the troops” slogan.. A little reality from both sides would help here.. Nothing wrong with a wall to channel the flow of people through proper entry points.. Most of that wall is already built.. to extend it from sea to sea.. is more than overkill.
I really WOULD like an explanation as to WHY, after TWO YEARS of TOTAL REPUBLICAN RULE in Washington D.C., Donald John Trump has picked THIS TIME to attempt to destroy the American government? Please, if there are ANY rational Republicans out there, I would appreciate some enlightenment!

Seriously. We have a slew of laws in place giving the POTUS the power and authority to make such a declaration and to act on it by diverting funds and resources. The laws in question are quite vague in defining what constitutes an emergency.
Many of his most serious critics have indicated that the poorly defined criteria for an emergency may open the door for such an action. While any attempt to use those powers to build a wall will be challenged in court, the outcome is anyone’s guess.
It is almost certain that the initial case will be filed in the 9th District in hopes of getting a “liberal” judge. However, once appealed, the actual text of the laws will be examined by multiple judges and possibly even the SCOTUS. I suspect that the decision will not favor the opponents of the wall.
