It’s clear some people know nothing of Bernie supporters other than cheap republican stereotypes.

Socialism starved and murdered millions in the 20th century, yet there are those who still support it. Why? Because they want to hold the whips and guns.

The primary difference between conservatives and everyone else is that conservatives understand why big government always fails. Unlike big government, private markets always know when to quit.

The “conversation” was over when Carmen label beliefs, not her own, as extreme.

‘Democratic’ Socialism is an idea that does not endure in practice.

Why exactly would democratic socialism be an extreme?

This one is so good, so befitting the times, that I wish I could “like” it twice.

Socialism has the same problem as capitalism – when enforced by totalitarianism. That seems to be the nugget that everyone seems to miss these days.

Yes, things went terribly wrong in Venezuela – but look again, they weren’t just socialist, they were totalitarian (one party government).

Ever since Republicans defined socialism as equivalent to communism (totalitarianism), it was totally forgotten the evils that were done, using capitalism, under totalitarianism.

Remember Germany, Italy, and Japan during WWII.

Remember China, even Russia, today: Capitalism under totalitarianism.

Western European countries have been operating a form of socialism pretty much since WWII. It’s just that Republicans want to remember only socialism as practiced by Russia, Cuba and, once upon a time, China.

They have deliberately ignored that it was one party systems that ruined both socialism and capitalism the world around!

The final irony: Republicans have been preaching one party rule ever since Rush (and many, many others) took to the airwaves.

And for two years, they almost got away with it!

An equal mix of Socialism and Capitalism has worked very well here in the USA since 1945 but since 1980, the Capitalism part has been trying to destroy the Socialism part much to our destruction.

I find this cartoon ironic considering how he was kissing Bernies ass during the election.
