    So far TWO confirmed deaths of small children in ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) custody. First was seven-year-old Jakelin Caal Maquin, a Mayan indigenous native persecuted by the U.S. backed tyrant in Guatemala, and now eight-year-old Guatemalan Felipe Gómez Alonzo.

    And these are just the two we know of.

    After the murder of Jakelin Caal Maquin (which is required by law to be reported to Congress within 72 hours but was not reported for more than a week, despite a Congressional hearing appearance by Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen), Nielsen admitted that she does not know how many children have died after being locked in baby cages.

    Did I say baby cages? I meant Trump Nazi BABY DEATH CAMPS.

    And you wonder why the Germans were so ignorant or tolerant of the Nazi Death Camps? A similar mentality. With those really sick few who were fanatical followers of their Leader would do or allow anything.

    Hitler and company did incarcerate then murder wholesale entire families where even babies in strollers went into the “showers”.

    Trump and company don’t and can’t do it that way. So they do it the slow haphazard way. However the destruction of that food and water was in the deliberate systematic Nazi Mode.

    The DREAM of the Reich-Wingnuts…KIDDIE KONCENTRATION KAMPS, Brought to you courtesy of DONALD J. TRUMP and THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!

    What a sad, pathetic legacy for them to leave behind when they are nothing more then a footnote in American History books listed along with all the other failed Political Parties, like The Whigs, and The Federalists…

    As the state and federal prisons become privatized, we have to find more ways to keep them full and profitable…. we’ll call it border security, yeah that’s the ticket…

    But… but… but… OBAMA did it!

    They deserve it for coming here illegally.

    Why should we give them free healthcare when we can’t take care of our own?

    Did I miss any of the “compelling” arguments?

    The problem with the accuracy of the Cartoon is the child is still upright and responsive. But give the baby a few days, I am sure ICE will kill the kid.

    Don’t feel so bad cousins of the USA, you are not alone in the way voters allow government to treat refugees and migrants harshly. Take a quick look at what we in Australia have been (and continue to be), guilty of. Google Nauru refugees and Manus Island refugees to share in our shame. We are in danger of surrendering our humanity in the name of nationalism.

    @Alberta Oil

    While ATEP (Alien Transfer Exit Program ) targets Mexican men attempting to enter the United States, the program doesn’t just nab men traveling alone. Men migrating with their families are separated from them, detained, and transported to an unfamiliar place in Mexico, while their partners and children are left to languish in detention centers. In 2011, during the height of ATEP, almost none of the reporting about the program focused on family separation.

    The Arizona-based organization No More Deaths refers to ATEP as “lateral repatriation,” noting that the program often separates family members and purposely sends them to cities far from one other. Families aren’t notified of where each member ends up, leaving them unaware of where their partners and children are.

    um… “parents” dragged their children to our border in order to break our laws. Any perceived culpability there? Were these poor kids not well? … Trump’s fault!!!! Jeezzz… I hope you guys are better parents. I’m guessing not, given the way you assess blame and express anger.
