I don’t know what to say. The only logical conclusion is not to vote for Democrat or Republican. So why vote at all. Ted, If you want to claim the Dems are the Lesser of two evils then fine. But the " I choose not to vote" subset is Killing Us, the Poor and the Planet.
Come on, Ted. Not all Democrats are bought off corporatists. Yeah, most of them are, but there are a small but growing number of Democratic legislators who are starting to change the political landscape. Instead of being such a cynic that even I have to roll my eyes, perhaps you can use your bully pulpit to help those few out. After all, if all you’re going to do is complain about the situation then you yourself are part of the problem.
As things are now, I’m pretty much in complete agreement with Ted. It remains to be seen if some of the newly elected Dems remain true to their pledges or if they get co-opted by the system. I don’t have any numbers but I know that many of the newly elected Dems are the same old same old. Just because Cortez gets a lot of publicity (and knows how to use it) doesn’t means they’re all like her. I’m from the Binghamton area and I normally vote Working Families or Green and will continue to do so because I view third parties as our only real hope. I did vote for the Democrat this year because our Republican representative was a Trump enabler and apologist and we did get rid of her. The Democrat talked like a progressive. We shall see.
I think Democrats are flawed and don’t do full justice for “brown people”, but they’re the lesser of two evils. I also think Democrats do better with environmental issues.
I suspect the phone rang, when rall was working, in the middle of today’s strip. That broke his chain of thought. The strip makes no sense.Or, maybe he’s in one of the states that has legalized marijuana. That’ll affect your reasoning, too. Maybe he wears a MAGA hat when no one is around. We’ll have to wait and see.

Dems are a lot more inclusive than the Repubs.
How about starting a People’s Party that is based on Education, Health Care and Infrastructure repair?

Wanting to get out of the political quagmire our deep partisanship has caused is not a negative!

Presumably the conclusion is to hope for nuclear war to wipe us all out since we all suck anyway. Woo. Happy holidays.

He is an egoist hard-core consumer. Any decent additional party would not have an offering for him.
